Michael Sam, who resides in Kanak Durga Colony Sector 12 RK. Puram, New Delhi, where he is popularly known as the 'Leaf Man' because his art is unique. He does artwork on leaves in such a way that it looks no less than a professional. While he isn’t trained from anywhere, because his economic condition was not good in the beginning and had no money to even buy paint brushes and getting training from an institution was something he could not dream of. There was a time when he used to work at a Call-Centre during the day while he worked as a security guard during the night. He used to work over time so that he could buy brushes. After buying brushes he began his artwork not only on leaves, but on paper, mat, ball and wall. His artwork gives a new and unique look to the things and makes them look way more than just attractive. He is not only a talented and creative artist, he is also a very good human being. He doesn’t stand with the people who pollute the city, rather he picks up the waste around his surroundings whether it is plastic bottles, show-pieces, dirty clothes or anything else, he takes all those things to his home, does artwork on them to give them a fresh and new look. He even sells them to the poster shop and if the shopkeeper denies taking them, he happilykeeps them in his own house.
